A client asked the other day what the PVU limit is for Planning Analytics Express (the old Cognos Express). I had thought it was 560 PVU, but could not find anything about it online. So I contacted IBM directly and found out that there is now NO PVU limit for Planning Analytics Express.
There is NO PVU limit for Planning Analytics Express
They came back to me quoting the following re the licence limit for Planning Analytics Express. The licence is now based on “Install”, not the power of either the virtual server or the host, where “Install” is:
Install is a unit of measure by which the Program can be licensed. An Install is an installed copy of the Program on a physical or virtual disk made available to be executed on a computer. Licensee must obtain an entitlement for each Install of the Program.”
