TM1User function, when used in Planning Analytics for Excel, returns the user logged in the current server.
TM1USER SYNTAX
The syntax is as following:
TM1User(“ServerName”)Where:
- ServerName : The name of the server to which the TM1 user is connected.
Example and Usage
To provide an example of how this function is used, let’s consider a simple scenario. Suppose there is a server named “NebulaFit” and a user named Tom is currently logged into this server. In this case, we can use the TM1USER Function to see who is logged in for the server, “NebulaFit”.
When the function is applied, it would yield the result “Tom”. This result is shown below.
