I had a memory fade yesterday and could not remember the TM1Web URL for a default installation of TM1.
FYI, TM1Web is a browser based interface for accessing forms and views over TM1 cubes with full write back capability. It is a very easy to configure method of giving a wide group of people access to TM1 data without the need to install any local plugins.
What is the URL for TM1Web?
The TM1 Web address is, simply, the following:
https://servername:port/tm1web/
or, if not using https:
http://servername:port/tm1web/
where:
- servername is the server name of your TM1 server (either as a fully qualified or non fully qualified name)
- port is the port for for TM1, usually 9510 (but for Cognos Express 19300)
- tm1web is the application name
So, for our server it was:
Or, if we were not using https, it would have been:
Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for TM1Web
If you want to you can refer to the TM1Web server using a fully qualified domain name, or FQDN. In that case the TM1Web URL would be:
https://servername.domain:port/tm1web/
where:
- servername is the server name of your TM1 server
- domain is the domain the server is part of
- port is the port for for TM1, usually 9510 (but for Cognos Express 19300)
- tm1web is the application name
So, for our server it was:
https://svr-tm1.infocube.local:9510/tm1web/
